Burke Lake Park does an annual “ghost train” for Halloween. There are more fairy tales than ghosts. Ian’s favorite was, hands down, the pirates, although Bob the Builder got an honorable mention.

Moral of this story…
If you want your gingerbread house to look really nice when it’s done, do not, I repeat, NOT allow me to apply the icing. Next most remarkable thing about this experience: Ian did not eat any of the candy OR FROSTING while building the house with a friend.

Little Man on a Mission
I let Ian pick these out at Nalls Produce today and we went and left them for a neighbor as a nice surprise. He was so cute pushing them all by himself. At one point they slid forward in the wagon and he stopped and made the adjustments all by himself.

PS: Here’s a picture of the art project he did during class. I had to sneak a photo because he was refusing to allow it to be reproduced. It unfortunately does not fit on the scanner bed so this is the best reproduction I could manage.
